Our returns policy

For returns and exchanges requested within 7 days of delivery we offer a free returns service (excluding sale items) via our international couriers TNT  (our same day courier service for Same Day Delivery customers).

All items for return or exchange must have a Returns number. For returns of faulty goods please follow the same process subject to the conditions detailed below. Returns numbers can be obtained by emailing us on returns@menalamode.com. Once you have received your Returns number please take care to follow the instructions emailed to you and detailed below. Please note that unidentified returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender.

We request that all goods are returned within 5 days of the date of your request for a return.

Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Men à la Mode and can only be refunded as a 'store credit'.

We can only exchange an item for the same item in a different size, subject to availability. We are unable to process any exchanges for a completely different item. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.

Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges. Any further returns of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will again be at the customers cost for shipping and refunded only as a store credit, these items will be at the discretion of Men a la Mode.

Men à la Mode will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been worn and tags removed. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received with no tags, the customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return.

No returns are offered non-faulty items of swimwear or underwear.

We are sorry but we cannot offer refunds for sale items. However, we  are happy to exchange them for goods of equal value, lower value or  higher value (if the difference in purchase price is paid).  The customer is liable for courier charges after the initial delivery for collection and delivery of the items for exchange. (Men a la Mode will only pay costs for the original delivery of sale items for UK customers only).

We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

Please be aware that shoes must be returned with their original designer packaging. Shoes returned without their original boxes will not be accepted.

Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via TNT (or our courier service for Same Day Delivery).

In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

You should make the goods freely available for collection by TNT (or our courier service for Same Day Delivery at a mutually convenient time within 5 days of receiving the Returns number. The return address is stated in your confirmation of returns email. Failure to obtain an Returns number or return goods using neither TNT nor our Same Day Delivery courier service does not affect your statutory rights.


How to proceed if you wish to return or exchange

In order to facilitate the return of your items you must obtain a returns  number by emailing us at returns@menalamode.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment. Any subsequent returns from the same order may incur additional shipping cost.

The returns number should be written on your original invoice and on the return-shipping label (TNT waybill slip). We request that returns are shipped through our shipping partner TNT or, for Same Day Delivery orders our dedicated London courier service.
